Special commission

Hello dear friends and readers,

I was very busy   for the past  several weeks ,with several commissioned work . I want to share few here with you. This set of bears were something interesting and I must confess a challenge to make but at the end I think it turned out lovely...don't you agree? Grin

My client sent me "her bears" and asked me to finish them for her. I have to removed hair that was one one of them, redo few ears, add eyes , sand, paint and fur.
I tried not to do a lot more so it stays as much as possible close to her own work. She made them pose able and one of them I had to re do but overall all worked very well.
Because they reminded me the Goldilocks , I added some removable clothes...:)

Below is a picture of how I received them!

Them I made 3 geese...

                             ......a fox.....

and a baby reindeer...

BOYS!!

Next to animals , I just love to sculpt  children... being a mother of 7 and all sorts of others, grin, you probably can understand why....grin!

I am in a mist of commissioned work and will post some of them here  when they are done, but some times I need to break free for a little while and these two boys came to me at the same time.
They are fully poseable and the head is jointed in a new way that I tried and love it .
They are listed on my etsy

Thank you so much for your kind comments!!!*smiles*

Ebay Cat Auction

Dear friends and readers,

Thank you so much for taking your time in leaving me a note. I am so relieved and happy to know that the blog is working again and (((you))) can find ((((me))))!!!grin
One thing that was causing problems was the music box . For some reason, the auto play was redirecting  the blog in a weird way... I am* NOT  very smart about computer language and in fact , was a sweet soul that responded to my plea of help!
Anyways.... here is a brand new cat that I made and it is already listed on my ebay with a starting bid of $.99 .
If you like to view the auction, just click the picture on the right tab , please.

Thank you very much! I hope you are having a blessed week!smiles~

*hahaha, I had to laugh when I  re read my own post and  I found out i left the word "not" out and gave a complete different meaning to what I meant! How presumptuous of me!hahaha
No, really...  I am terrible with computer language !

                                                Some progress pictures....

Animals available and show report

Hello dear readers and friends!grin

I am back from Chicago !!:)
The trip was NOT what I expected.... I am talking about the trip not the show. Becca, my daughter and I almost did not make to the show.  First our flight was cancelled and after waiting  for other flights that did not seemed that we would never make it, we finally arrived at the hotel around midnight last Thursday. After   nice warm shower and a very comfy bed everything seemed to be forgotten!:)

Becca and I were super excited about the show. Firstly this is the first time I had her along with me and she, along Gabby, is the one that enjoys miniatures the most. About 3 years ago , I gave her a large and old dollhouse that i found in an antique store . It is not a fancy dollhouse but a large one so Becca decided that instead of a house it would be an orphanage. You can imagine  were my "children" ends up when I don't sell it , right? *wink*

Anyways... we are back and  very happy with this show. I am already signed up for next year. *smiles*

Below you can see Becca in our very modest table. I had to give up my very large suitcase for a small one and sacrifice few items in order to only have hand baggages since we did not know what flight we were going to take and leaving behind was our lights and displays. It was alright, and all worked out somehow.

The picture above of me ( *blushing* )  was taken   Bridget McCarty  ... Bridge is not only an incredible artisan but such sweet girl.

I have worked close to 8 months for this show. I was able to have many animals as my desire is to be able to offer my loyal collector plus new ones an opportunity to choose from various of my work. I worked many , many months into long  days  and nights but  at the end were all very worth it to me.

I have a hand full of miniatures that I did not sale so if one of my work fancies you, make sure you check my etsy store. I plan to list every single animals there as I am now committed to start a whole new collection  for Philadelphia Show in November and of course , still work with my commissions.

I can't say I  won't list on ebay , but to be honest with you , I like to sell at a fixed price way better then auction  and I love esty. I feel that is a good place for me! :)

I will try to do updates posts with the listed animals as much as I can , but I have a LOT to  update my website with the sold items..... it will take  me some time.

Also.... I had a lot a problems with the blog lately.... my updates are not working properly and people can not find me. I don't know how to fix it and don't have the time to figure it  out :(. I hope all will work out it self somehow.
I will leave telling you that How thankful I am to my Heavenly Father for not only allowing me to create  from my heart but also for blessing me beyond my wild dreams with people that truly enjoy what I make.
Going to shows  is special to me because I get to meet these people and hear their stories when they hold  one of my animals and tell me what that means to them.

I had to hold my tears more than once during this show as twice I was asked to commission  pets that are no longer living . What it touched me the most was to hear the relationship these people ( or their loved ones) had with the animals and what meant to them. I feel that is a honor  for me to have  them to trust and choose my work to create a memory piece for them!

Have a blessed evening or day....where ever you are....

~Love in Jesus~
